“Coordinated services for an active and healthy ageing” is the title of an upcoming debate organised by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)’s Consultative Commission on Industrial Change (CCMI) on 24 February 2020 in Brussels. On 6 December 2019, our partner Ilenia Gheno from AGE Platform Europe - the network of older persons in Europe, contributed to a meeting of the Demographic Change Regions Network (DCRN) with a presentation on “Embracing the users’ experience for locally implementing digital solutions”.
Next Tuesday 18 February 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (CET), NESTORE along with two other European projects in virtual coaching are organising a webinar on how to handle data sharing in research projects on healthy ageing.

"In a tangible world, objects have cultural meaning" said Prof. Paul Chamberlain in introduction to the September workshop on the NESTORE co-design methods. Organised in the frame of the Open Living Lab Days 2019, the NESTORE Co-Design workshop invited participants to interact with objects to explore the wealth of discussions that it can bring.
Aware of the challenges brought by the demographic change, public authorities and private entities in the Netherlands are joining forces to set up policies and practices for healthy living and ageing. NESTORE engaged with those committed stakeholders on the occasion of a dedicated public event on October 3rd 2019.
Next Thursday 3rd of October 2019, NESTORE organises a public event mainly aiming to engage discussion with regional and local policy makers to discuss the complementarities of decision-support systems like NESTORE with wider local policies for ageing well. The meeting will take place at the Het Nieuwe Instituut, from 15:00 to 18:00.
