NESTORE methodology is based on co-design principles. While reasons for non-acceptance of health technologies are complex, co-design can help better understand the broader physical and social environments in which services and technologies will be accessed.
NESTORE will adopt co-design tools and methods that will seek to engage and elicit information related to perception, acceptance and usability of technologies supporting healthcare. Such methods have been shown to be beneficial in the evaluation and design of healthcare interventions.
The NESTORE solutions will be validated in 3 European countries (Italy, the Netherlands and Spain) gathering participants from different groups of stakeholders and networks.
