Strengthening Older People’s Rights in Times of Digitalisation
Join the discussion with European and International speakers, including Dubravka Šuica, Commission Vice President for Democracy and Demography, Helena Dalli, EU Commissioner for Equality, Michael O’Flaherty, Director of the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights and Claudia Mahler United Nations Independent Expert on the enjoyment of all human rights by older persons, among many other professionals and "agevists", to make reinforce the rights-based approach to digital innovation.
Data gaps and older people
Want to age well? Mind the data gaps. Data management is key in NESTORE, as well as in many projects where artificial intelligence is at stake. Hereby, NESTORE shares the report of the United Nations' Independent Expert on the enjoyment of all human rights by older persons. This work examines how data is a prerequisite for evidence-based and informed decision-making. It dives into the data gap conundrum and its impact on the way we age, reminding everyone the data matters and of the responsibility that each designer and developer has in using it correctly.

NESTORE nominated to the SilverNight Trophies 2020 in France (10 Dec. 2020)
France will be hosting the SilverNight Trophies in the Palais des Festivals, in Cannes to reward the best ageing initiatives and solutions of the year. NESTORE will appear before a Jury of experts on Thursday, December 10 between 12:30 and 17:00.
